Welcome to your Secret Santa list-maker!
Just tell us the names to be “put in the hat”, and we will make a “who buys for whom” list, subject to YOUR restrictions (e.g., Charlie can’t buy for Chris or Maya, etc.). It’s that simple, it’s immediate, and it’s FREE!!
We use proprietary and patented software to ensure that your list is COMPLETELY RANDOM (while meeting your stated conditions of who can't buy for whom).
STEP 1
Enter a Family/Group name in the white box to the right.
STEP 2
List up to 15 People, by typing their names in the boxes to the right. If you don't need all 15, just leave some blank. Nicknames or initials are fine — just make sure to be specific enough that you'll recognize the names when you see the list!
STEP 3
Indicate all combinations that are "NOT ALLOWED", using the letters (A, B, etc.) that appear next to a name you entered, by checking the appropriate boxes. For example, if “A” cannot buy for “B”, you'll want to check the box where “GIVER” = “A” and “RECEIVER” = “B” (column A, row B). The pre-set check marks are so that an individual won't 'pick' themselves (though this can be undone if desired).
STEP 4
Click on the "Generate My List" button. This will take you to a page with results. If you want to re-run, please click on your back button, and click on ‘Generate My List’ again (given that this is a random matching, you are likely to get a different answer each time!).
